ASHRAE Filters & Rigid Cell Air Filters
Two styles of rigid cell filters are represented in this category. Widths of 12" and 6" are used and efficiencies of MERV 10 (55% efficiency), MERV 11 (65% efficiency), MERV 12 (75% efficiency), MERV 13 (85% efficiency), MERV 14 (95% efficiency), and MERV 15 (>95% efficiency) are used.
Deep Pleated Rigid Cell

Deep pleated rigid ASHRAE cell filters use a high efficiency filter media backed with a welded wire or expanded metal grid. Pleats are held in place with plastic or cardboard spacers to maintain pleat integrity under high velocity air flow conditions. Frame styles include Box style frames and "Headered" [frames with a lip on one side].
Installation ease is a primary advantage of deep pleated rigid cell filters, especially in factory fabricated air handlers and rooftop units. These filters are also able to handle higher air velocities versus non rigid filters.
Carbon Loaded and Dominator Rigid Cell Filters
Koch DuraPure Granular Carbon Cell, Purolator Puro Cell, Purolator Dominator
Each of these filters have different media types. The Koch DuraPure and Purolator Puro Cell offer odor reduction by using carbon in the filtration media. The Koch DuraPure uses carbon in granules packed inside a rigid cell for heavy continuous odors in industrial applications.
The Purolator Puro Cell uses small granules of carbon inside filter media which provides a level of particulate filtration as well as odor reduction for medium to light duty applications.
The Purolator Dominator is a new innovative design that provides a long life and low pressure drop for particulate filtration. It is the highest value filter we offer in this level of filtration.
