Bag Filters & Pocket Filters
Bag filters and pocket filters are used for dust removal in industrial applications.
Bag filters are a traditional design using a specific filter media called mat media which is made of either glass fibers or synthetic polyester blends. They are commonly used in constant large volume airflow HVAC applications such as multi story office buildings. Utilizing a stamped metal header with soft of stiff media bag filters are in use in many commercial and industrial applications.
Pocket filters are also know as cube filters. They are typically made from lofted gradient density polyester. Many times several layers of different densities are used to enhance dust holding capacity and particulate efficiency. Pocket filters are versatile and are used in HVAC systems and paint / powder coating exhaust collection.
