Ring Panels

Ring panels serve as a unique filter design which is typically made from several layers of bulk polyester filter media and a 9 gauge wire ring support. The filter media is sewn around the wire ring which allows the filter media to have an internal support. This design creates a "self seal" because the filter media seals the filter between the housing and the wire ring.

Applications

HVAC - Ring panels are well suited for commercial tracking systems. The design of the filter reduces the possibility of air bypass compared to using multiple framed pleated type filters. The ring panel design uses gradient density filter media and loads throughout versus a pleated filter which face loads. Ring panels and pleated filters last about the same amount of time.

Coatings - Many booths use ring panels for their intake filtration in order to remove any particles that could mar the paint surface. Depending on the type of item you are coating you may need basic filtration or a very high level. The "self seal" feature ensures that no air bypasses the filter and ends up in the paint.
