Multi-Pleat GT HEAVY DUTY HD1 filter inserts (NO FRAME) are specifically designed for use as a prefilter in gas turbine applications to help extend the life of more expensive final filters. Durable and efficient, the Multi-Pleat GT insert is an ideal choice for many gas turbine applications that have econony in mind. Low pressure drop/high efficiency. The media used in the Multi-Pleat GT insert carries a MERV-8 fractional efficiency rating in accordance with ASHRAE Test Standard 52.2 and has an initial pressure drop of less than .25" water gauge. This combination of efficiency and low resistance to airflow make it a superior upgrade to conventional pleated filters and media pads.
HD1 Construction details: 100% synthetic high loft polyester. Heavy duty galvanized wire support on downflow air side of media.
