Disposable T-Mod HEPA Cleanroom Ceiling Module
This disposable, low-cost unit offers special advantages for cleanroom applications where ceiling plenum space is limitedand is a total-unit disposal/replacement, and where cost containment is a high priority. These units are available as 2' X 4' or 2' X 2' modules, ready for drop-in installation in a standard T-Grid ceiling.
The self-contained unit is housed in a completely sealed anodized aluminum frame. A positive seal is ensured because each unit is supplied with a 1/4" x1/8" foam gasket that goes against the T-Grid. The pre-tested, 2" thick HEPA filter housed within the frame is rated 99.99% efficient on 0.3 micron sized particles. The filter is protected by a white expanded metal screen.
Each unit is equipped with a collar which easily connects to a flexible duct and once the module is sealed in the T-Grid and the duct connection is made, the unit is ready for operation. Air-flow is regulated by a centerport plate damper and adjustments are easily made from within the room using an ordinary screwdriver through an access in the grille face.
