Purolator Carbon Media Hi-E 40 Pleated Panel Filter
 

The Hi-E 40CB promotes improved indoor air quality through odor control. These filters clean the air by removing airbone molecular contaminants present at concentrations less than one part particle per million (ppm).

  • High efficiency MERV 8 rated media bonded with small 20 x 50 mesh carbon granules combined with the pleated configuration allows maximum carbon exposure.
  •  Low pressure drop due to the even dispersion of carbon throughout the media, not just on the surface - allowing air to flow freely through the media.
  • Longer filter life compared to competitors with minimal shedding or dust from the carbon.  The thermal bonding process that bonds the carbon to the media exposes the maximum adsorpent area possible.
  • More adsorbent media: pound for pound, the Purolator media is six times more effective than competitor carbons.
  • Available in 1", 2" and 4" depths.
