Resin Bonded Filter ElementsDepth filtration at high flow rates and viscosity fluids are the perfect application for 5 Star Filter resin bonded elements. They are manufactured with 2 densities to get the most out of each element's compact size. Particle removal and service life of each cartridge in viscous fluids is maximized using resin bonded cartridges.
These elements are direct equivalents to Parker ProBond (name used for identification purposes only) phenolic resin cartridges.
5 Star Filter offers 4 styles of resin bound cartridges: flat surface cylinder, grooved to increase the surface area, grooved economy grade, and grooved specifically for food and water applications.
- Our phenolic resin impregnation process significantly increases cartridge strength for use with viscosities up to 15,000 SSU and pressure surges up to 125 psi
- The 2 densities of our resin bonded cartridges provides a gradient density filtration effect; large particles are stopped before getting to the finer micron rated weave near the center of the element
- Coatings filtration is not affected by these elements because they are made without any silicone, which affect adhesion of the particles in paint
- Resin bonded elements provide superior filtration for a wide range of applications
- Long acrylic and polyester fibers make these elements very strong and they do not break easily.
- Optional end treatments include: Buna O-rings, EPR O-rings, Silicon O-rings, and Viton O-rings
We offer micron ratings from 2 to 150 and lengths from 9.75" long to 60" long.
Typical applications for these superior elements include:
- Abrasives
- Adhesives
- Animal Oils
- Chemical Coatings
- Emulsions
- Organic Fluids
- Organic Solvents
