Panel style mist eliminators are designed for use in air handling systems that require the collection of oil mist or water droplets. Oil mist in return air is often found in production machine shops. In supply air, water droplets may occur as carryover from cooling coils and evaporative media or unevaporated moisture downstream from humidifiers.
These filters are constructed as mesh layers of media supported by a heavy frame. The panel mist eliminator has both expanded media and fine screen media layered to collect large amounts of oil or water. The mist eliminator also has three drain holes in both the top and the bottom to allow proper drainage. Specify which side is top or bottom for your application in the comments section when ordering.
These mist eliminators can be provided in aluminum, galvanized steel and stainless steel. Standard screen types are aluminum and galvanized steel. Stainless screen is available in a variety of mesh sizes.
